§ 102-43. Billing; payment of charges; delinquency.

(a)

All users of water or sewer service shall be billed utilizing a monthly billing cycle. Billings for each cycle shall be made within ten days after the end of each cycle. Payments are due on receipt of billing. Any payment not received within 20 days after the end of the cycle shall be delinquent.

(b)

A late payment penalty will be added to each delinquent bill for each 30 days or portion thereof of delinquency. Water service to the user shall be subject to discontinuance and shall not be reconnected after discontinuance until all past due water bills and sewer bills are fully paid, together with additional charges. Charges for late payment penalties and reconnections shall be adopted by the city council from time to time by resolution.
