§ 110-609. Setbacks, screening and lighting standards for public parking areas and automobile and trailer sales areas.

  • Every parcel of land or plot hereafter used as a public parking area or automobile or trailer sales area shall be developed as follows, subject to the approval of the enforcing official:

    (1)

    Setbacks for parking and storage; screening. Where such area adjoins the side of a plot in a residential district, no parking or storage of vehicles shall be permitted within seven feet thereof, and within the seven-foot strip thus provided, a compact evergreen hedge shall be planted and maintained to a height of six feet.

    (2)

    Lighting. Any lights used to illuminate such area shall be so arranged as to reflect the light away from adjoining premises in a residential district.
