§ 2-51. Generally.

(a)

Applicability of state law. Except as provided in this section, ordinances shall be adopted as required in F.S. §166.041.

(b)

Enacting clause. The enacting clause shall be "The City of Arcadia hereby ordains ...."

(c)

Form of amendments. Any ordinance which repeals or amends an existing ordinance or part of this Code shall set out in full the ordinance, sections or subsections to be repealed or amended, and shall indicate matter to be omitted by enclosing it in brackets or by strike-out type and shall indicate new matter by underscoring or by italics.
