§ 66-61. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Licensee means any person licensed to operate and maintain a mobile home park under the provisions of this article.

    Mobile home means a residential structure that is transportable in one or more sections, which structure is eight body feet (2.4 meters) or more in width, over 35 feet in length with the hitch, built on an integral chassis, and designed to be used as a dwelling when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems contained in the structure.

    Mobile home park means a place set aside and offered by a person for either direct or indirect remuneration of the owner, lessor, or operator of such place, for the parking, accommodation, or rental of five or more mobile homes.

    Mobile home space means any plot of ground within a mobile home park designed for the accommodation of one mobile home.

    Natural or artificial barrier means any river, pond, canal, railroad, levee embankment, fence or hedge.

    Park means a mobile home park.
